Guess where that excess oil came from. You're right, VENEZUELA!
But you didn't mention that you developed it and you didn't mention that it came from Venezuela. It very well could come from Texas and Texas oil industy is developed irl but it isn't capable to replace Middle Eastern oil.
Ok so I nuked Iran, broke up its command chain, got the shah killed the destroyed Iranian morale and you just shrug it of? Bro that is shameful!
Killing the Shah is a blow but not that hard. He wasn't very strong to begin with and he has relatives, one of which was made the new Shah. You killed some generals but many generals were near the front so damage will be felt but won't be crippling. And you didn't destroy the morale, as I explained. First of all you got nuked as well, so the situation isn't same as it was when Hiroshima and Nagasaki were nuked. Second, destruction isn't crippling, only one-two million people died in a country of about sixty million. Third, the army isn't fighting for the Shah. The war is a jihad and also a national liberation war and a social struggle. If anything the nuclear attack made them angrier.
On the subject of the Iranian Navy
Even today, in 2019, Iran has a grand total of 0 aircraft carriers.
In 1979 irl:
It has 2 corvettes, 7 missile carriers, 6 frigates, 0 destroyers.
So the Iranian navy in the game wouldn't be much more than this
Why? I specifically developed my navy, it isn't the same situation as with your oil fields.
So do you accept my peace offer?
1. you weren't there in the 1910/61 thread so you didn't have context. I'll give you context:
There was once a country called Brazil. It took over South America but was extremely unstable. Later, it collapsed into anarchy. This started the Scramble for South America. In the end, I controlled Colombia, Venezuela, Brazil (Most of it), Ecuador, and Peru. Oil was discovered in Venezuela and I capitalized on it.
I don't know what year of school you're in, but later in your school life, they'll teach you a nice thing called context clues, which is a handy thing where you draw a conclusion based on context of the situation, which I just gave you.
2. No I don't accept your peace offer lol
