Kingstonball is a cityball in southeast Ontarioball. It was first settled in 1673 as Fort Cataraqui, became a cityball in 1846 and amalgamated in 1998 with two other communities.
Friendly and vibrant, Kingstonball is a cityball of culture and a producer of sporting talent. It has a minor hockey team called the Frontenacs, and is the home of Queen's University. It also produced the first-ever winner of Canadian Idol in 2003.
Its greatest-known citizens is the rock band The Tragically Hip, whose final concert on home clay was watched on TV by over a third of Canadaball's population. Sadly, their lead singer has brain cancer.
