Shanball, officially Shan Stateball is a subdivision (a state) of
. He is heavily influenced by
Thailandball because of location and has many popular tourist attractions and even a gambling city, Mongla (မိုင်းလား), on the border with
Chinaball, and gambling cities are rare in Myanmarball because they follow
Buddhism, and one rule in Buddhism is 'no gambling'.
Before Myanmarball took away some of their clay, Shan Stateball owned some ruby mines, and some lakes that were coming out of the hillside. Now, it has a 'Little Bagan', which is a replica of an ancient city in Central Myanmar, scattered with little temples here and there. It is located in the outskirts of a city, Thibaw (in Burmese) and Hsipaw (in Shan).
Popular across Myanmarball is Inle Lake, in Shan Stateball. Shan Stateball, and even Myanmarball, could not survive without this lake. It has floating houses on stilts, Myanmarball's only floating market, and some small temples nearby. It is located on the edge of some lush, green hills.
