The Somaliland Campaign refers to the World War I African theater against Dervish Stateball to colonize Somaliland area to remove central powers. It ended up with colonists' victory and with the creation of British and Italian Somaliland colonies. A small part of it known as Ogadeniaball was annexed by

Major Battles
- Battle of Jijiga (1900) - Dervish Natives ambushed the Abyssinian Army Encampment of Jijiga and inflicted heavy losses on the Abyssinians, but were forced back after the Abyssinians armed children with rifles to inflate their forces. After the battle, Abyssinians forces attacked Non-Dervish Tribes to gain their mounts and arms. (Abyssinian Victory)
- Border Battle at the Majeerteen Sultanate (1901)- A combined British-Abyssinian force of 17,000 attacked a large Dervish Tribe at the border of the Italian Majeerteen Sultinate, forcing the Dervish to retreat into the Sultanate. The British-Abyssinian force failed to get a grip on the nearby Ogaden River and were forced to retreat afterwords. (Dervish Victory)
- British Landing and Expedition at Hobyo (1903-1904)- The British successfully landed an Expeditionary Force of unknown numbers at Hobyo, defeating the Dervish. The British pushed out, using Italian-Dervish Border battles as a distraction. The British were forced back and out of Hobyo after the Dervish Commander defeated the British at two villages, taking 1,250 rifles and over 4,000 Ponies in the process. (Dervish Victory)
- Battles of Jibali and Ilig (1904)- The British started another offensive at Badwein, quickly pushing forward to the towns of Jibali and Ilig. The first battle, Jibali, saw a Dervish loss of zero life and an unknown amount wounded. The second battle, Ilig, saw another Dervish loss of 58 dead and 14 wounded,and an Italian Naval Bombardment form 22 Battleships and Destroyers,which forced the Dervish out of the area. - Battles of Dul Madoba (1913/1920)- The British and Italians launched a final attack on the Dervish at Dul Madoba 1913, but had failed after four attempts. Due to a bleeding army, The Italians did not help the British in 1920, though the British succeeded using Air Support against the Dervish. This battle finished off the Dervish Military and put an end to the Dervish's 20-year resistance. (British-Italian Victory)
