      I send a telgraph to Ottoman Empire's leader, Belarusball1:

Belarusball, I wouldnt suggest joining the entente because they, mainly uk and france are litterally colonising you. For 200 years they have taken all your money, they built infastructure and took everything 2 kilometers within it and much more. The only reason you lived this long and they didn't kill you was because they wanted to keep eating your resources and money. They could decide to kill you anytime. So, answer, do you want to stay as a puppet of UK and France or do you want to become free and lead the Turks to glory? If you join Entente and you win, well they will eventually eat you. But I promise if youjoin us and you win you will be 100% free and I will help you recover from what they have done to you. I will also help you take back a lot of your collonial holdings. So, I'm offering you a treaty, you will join the central powers, if we win you will be 100% free, take back your collonial holdings and I will give you lots of equipment and resources. What do you say?

•We start armored car production, also building more factories.

•We organize a festival and a 2 week holiday for our workers, they are overworking and hopefully we can help them recover from stress.

      Military:

Souther Italy (Naples, Sicily) would also sense naval presence as they guard the Italian waters, skeptical about the Ottomans east, the British, south, and the French to the west. Cities like Naples and Catania would experience especially high naval presence, with naval stations and ports being made of better quality in order to provide the army with its needs efficiently.

      Diplomacy:

Even though Italy is not too interested in Montenegro, they would, out of curiosity, like to know why the Ottomans were attacking the nation.

We try to improve relations with the Afar ethnicity, which streches from the rugged coast of Eritrea to the highlands of Ethiopia. We try to win over their freindship for possible wars due to how the Afarians (?) know the region pretty well.

-We have decided we have way too many soldiers and they are weak. We have decided to decrease the amount of soldiers we have and make more powerfull ones. We replace some of our infantry with armored car divisions, which are much stronger. As we disband some of the infantry we put the equipment to the market. Some South American nations are willing to buy them. With more money coming from these guns we highly focus on our industry and economy.

-Our leader has insulted Britain, called the leader a hypocrite and the British actions inhumane. The way they treat their colonies are unacceptable and far from human. We have announced Britain our greatest rival and that they MUST be destroyed and the british navy is the biggest threat. We use some of the money coming from guns to produce more ships.

-We have given more autonomy to our colonies and gave more rights to people there. We send aid and their opinion of us is increasing. We hope everyone understands that the german monarchy is peaciful and good for everyone and people start liking our regime.

-Romanian royal family which actually serve the German Empire (this is an historical fact) starts doing pro-german campaign in Romania.

-We try to improve relations with france, and offer to give back Alsaca Loraime if a pact of non aggression is signed.

-We have started doing anti-british propaganda around the world, especially in British colonies and we are trying to make them rebel.

The reasons why I am invading Montenegro:

-It was part of me, it shall be part of me again

-This is good military practice before the Great War

-I want to show that I am not weak, but that I am still strong

I recognise that obviously we don't have to follow history exactly, and we're both human players, but historically Britain and Japan had pretty good relations until the 20s, 30s. They were very similar in how they were both island empires with powerful navies, and the two had a bunch of agreements and treaties which got broken off after WWI.

    • I am not going to join this game, but as a player of the old 1910, I would like to give several reccomedations from my experience playing map games in various mapping communities. Please dont get offended if you dont agree with me

      1. There is a need for a highly centralized admin system - To often people are like "Oh and then all the people in Poland suddenly want to join us!" Things like this, battle outcomes, etc should be determined by mods who enforce rules strictly, this was a big problem in the old 1910 where Iran ran around godmodding and no one did anything, punishments should be in place (such as voiding turns) and the only thing that stopped their rampage was them getting bored and quitting

2.. More specific stuff - Thread mapping games are suppossed be quick but I reccomend that mods and people should release info like population, army size, and gdp for example for people to at least have a refrence

      3. Variation - Don't always have your nation in a golden age, be sure to at least change your strategy based on change of rulers and whatnot

      4. Discord - A discord server for a map game allows people to roll dice to determine a battle's outcome since there are Rp bots in Discord, and it allows for easier communication since doing it on a thread does start to fill it up and you have to do a new one and whatnot

      5. Punishment System - If a guy walks in and godmodes, then there should be a punishment, for example, that bad turn could be voided, or he could he banned for a certain amount of turns, you could even get a bit creative or what and mingplode his country, looking at you Canuckistan: If a person walks in and quits immediatly they should be banned as well from future games, just plz be sure to uphold your rules for real.

That's all, please take this into consideration, but don't get too worked up over this.

I like ideas 1 3 and 5 and I will probably cook something up by next turn

but I don’t know how to use discord servers and bots and not everyone here uses it

i should be able to hook you up with someone and if i have to i can make a server for 1910 or whatnot

well it does lead to less arguments like

player 1: I attack an encircle your troops

player 2: wait no you cant do that

player 1: its totally plausible for me to encircle your troops

      player 2: no it isn't

    • How a dice rolling system can work

For situations like strong country (Example: US) vs weak country (example: Mexico) add 2 to strong country rolls For situations where the infantry is a bit stronger than another countries, add 1 to stronger country rolls For Air Force, do a separate roll.

I’ll make a whole chart on this in google docs and put in the link later

I recognise that obviously we don't have to follow history exactly, and we're both human players, but historically Britain and Japan had pretty good relations until the 20s, 30s. They were very similar in how they were both island empires with powerful navies, and the two had a bunch of agreements and treaties which got broken off after WWI.

I still will not change my moves, Still going to turn my relations to the Central Powers.

      - A program with the Greek government begins to create a fortified line running near Thrace, touted as “the Balkan Maginot” by one British advisor. Officially named the Thermopylae Line, the line consists of several forts, artillery pieces and trenches.

      - Britain accepts the non-aggression pact with Austria-Hungary.

      - Work on improving the defences of Hong Kong and Singapore begins, with the aim of preparing these city states for a long-term siege.

      - Britain proposes the “Far East Defensive Pact” between Britain, France, the U.S. and the Netherlands, as the countries with the largest stakes in the region, to safeguard against possible Japanese interference.

      - Talks begin on inviting Portugal to the Entente, with reasoning given that Germany hates Portugal. The evidence here is Germany saying “Fuck you why did you become a republic” to Portugal like a turn ago.

Ah shoot that slipped past me.

      - Britain accepts that Germany has chosen to end the charade of friendship they had previously held up. Britain now would not trust Germany even to die properly.

      - Britain begins spreading anti-German propoganda within that country's colonies. In its own colonies some German spies are arrested and deported. Also, work begins on rural development and in India work is done to try and end a century of constant famine by establishing a stable food source.

      - Troops are dispatched to British Honduras to prevent a spillover of the conflict in Mexico

      - A national census finds the U.K. population at 45 million.

It’s likely you’d have Serbia, Greece and Romania against you if you attacked Bulgaria, seeing as they all hate you. Plus, in the 1900s the Ottomans slaughtered a lot of Bulgarian civilians, so that second to last article may have them being sceptical

The first use of a bomber in combat was in 1913 and it was basically just pilots yeeting grenades out of the cockpit. Real bombers weren't a thing until the latter half of the 1910s.

And sure, Germany's a world trade power, but Sweden? Even Austria-Hungary wouldn't really be international, being stuck in the Mediterranean and all. The Ottoman economy is basically just sand, no offense to Belarusball. By vowing to 'liberate' Asia, you're going to distance all your neighbours, except China whose in a civil war, Siam who's just kinda small, and Russia, who would hate you anyway after the War of 1904.

I mean I should probably stop making unhelpful comments, but these are valid points I think.
