Vanuatuball (formerly known as New Hebridesball) is a countryball in Oceania. He was an Anglo-French Condominium until 1980. During World War II, he was suffering from a threat of Japanese-Empire-icon Japanese influence, New Hebridesball sided with the combined might of the UK-icon British (under Sir Winston Churchill) and France-icon Free French (under Charles de Gaulle) forces.


Vanuatu was first taken over by 7-icon Melanesiaball. The first Europeans to find vanuatu were Spain-icon Spainball who was led by Portugal-icon Portugalball to Vanuatu-icon Vanuatuball's clay.

Vanuatuball was owned by France-icon Franceball and UK-icon UKball from 1880 to 1980, when it gained its independence.

Where did the name come from?

Vanuatuball's name came from the word vanua (meaning land) and tu (meaning to stand) in Austronesian languages. The two words represented Vanuatu-icon Vanuatuball owning all its clay.

About Vanuatuball's Clay

Vanuatuball consisted of 82 islands,only 65 of them being inhabited. Two islands were taken away from Vanuatu-icon Vanuatuball by France-icon Franceball to create parts of New Caledonia-icon New Caledoniaball.

Climate of clay

Vanuatu-icon Vanuatuball lives in humid,tropical conditions. It has about 9 months of the wet season, which is hot, tropical and humid.

Vanuatu has had so many natural disaster it almost was into relevance. Cyclones, Earthquakes, Flooding, Tsunamis, Volcanic Eruptions. Vanuatu-icon Vanuatuball has had to go through it all.
