Western Togoland Rebellion, also known as the Francophone Crisis, is an ongoing conflict in Ghanaball.
Western Togolandball is trying to get independence.
Background
After World War I, German Togolandball was split between the
British and
French. The British part, known as British Togolandball was annexed into
Ghanaball when Ghanaball achieved independence.
Course of the conflict
On September 1, 2020, Western Togolandball declared independence. The WTRF/FRTO, which is the group that declared independence for Western Togolandball, attacked many locations. Attacks got so bad that
Ghanaball had to give the town of Alavanyo autonomy. Fighting continues as of today.
